Do you remember your first artwork, what was it like?

My first works were simply childish scrawl, I think.

What are your favourite topics and why? Is there anything you would not depict? What are your favourite topics and why? Is there anything you would not depict?

My favorite topics are fantastic environments and the metaphysical connections between tangible and intangible objects of the world.

How education has influenced your creativity and changed your professional way?

I think art education is an original instrument, which gives the ability to depict. After that, if you want to become better, you need self-education.

From which authors do you get inspiration?

Painting: P. Brueghel the elder, I. Bosch, R. Magritte, M. Escher. Modern artists: Z. Bekshinski and P. Grich. Music: J. S Bach, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull and virtually all kind of jazz.

What, do you think is the place of visual arts in today's life? Do you think art can influence the public life?

I think, today the role of the fine art as small as never before. Social life now consists mainly TV, which (for the money, naturally) implement the aesthetic policy of the corporations. It is designed to befuddle the population of our planet – because stupid people are easier to manage. It is unlikely that there is room for real art. It is a pity.

Do you think that nationality has its place in art?

I don’t think so. We know a lot of artists who live abroad or flying around the world. They feel fine in any place.

Which books are you reading lately?

I read mainly fiction. I am so interesting in living.

Are there any projects you are working on at the moment?

I don’t have any "projects" in the global sense.

How do you see your future?

It is difficult to me to answer. I hope that it will be interesting.

Would you say in one sentence what is the art for you?

Art for me is not only an enormous part of my life, but also an excellent way to entertain myself and people around me.
