When did you start to be interested in art? Why did you choose to draw?

In kindergarten, I was 5 years old, we put him to bed after dinner. Before us hung a portrait of Lenin in the frame. Instead of sleep, I mentally draws all the features of the portrait leader. Then an adult I often had to portray Lenin in different types of ...

Do you remember your first artwork, what was it like?

  I went to a children's art school. In the first papers I represented Russian houses of wood with red roofs. The very first for many years kept by relatives in Tel Aviv ... A desire to draw home for life.

What are your favourite topics and why? Is there anything you would not depict?

Last year I got very carried away people. This is the most beautiful and mysterious in the world. And I do not like to portray a world without sunlight.

How education has influenced your creativity and changed your professional way?

  I studied painting at the institute. I was surrounded by many wonderful people who are still breathing art.

From which authors do you get inspiration?

  First of all I love Russian Wanderers, Repin, Serov, Perov, Korovin ... French Impressionists ... my friends Muscovites landscape very much.

What, do you think is the place of visual arts in today's life? Do you think art can influence the public life?

Today the art, in my view, has led increasingly to occupy people. Urbanization, computers, technology have tortured people. Everybody wants a clean and alive ... Art is always influenced people. But art is different ...

Do you think that nationality has its place in art?

I think that people should respect their nationality, preserve their roots in any case. In art especially.

Which books are you reading lately?

Last time I like to read M. Weller and stories by Anton Chekhov.

  Are there any projects you are working on at the moment?

  Every day I write stories, brought from India. While the fresh memory of the trip.

How do you see your future?

I want to write without stopping, and show to people.

Would you say in one sentence what is the art for you?

Art is my life, house, bread, wine, loved ones, my sun.
