When did you start to be interested in art? Why did you choose to draw?

All children love to draw. Artists just continue to use this form of expression and transform it in their being and life.

Do you remember your first artwork, what was it like?

  Probably the first drawing, which has made an impression has converted into artwork.

What are your favourite topics and why? Is there anything you would not depict

I wouldn't draw anything, which dosen't excite me. Fortunatelly the world is full of excited things.

How education has influenced your creativity and changed your professional way?

  The professinal education gives an opportunity to the artist to express him/her self freely. Knowledge about things defines the author's position, but without stong individual sensuousness, the education doesn't matter.

From which authors do you get inspiration?

  There are some artworks without author's name, but the author's attendance has went over the time and still greatly excites.

What, do you think is the place of visual arts in today's life? Do you think art can influence the public life?

Enormous! People need art and they are continuously looking for it. In the infinetely stream of artworks, unfortunatelly the definition has become unclear by treadesmen and charlatan.

Do you think that nationality has its place in art?

The artist's disposition matters. Nationality is convenient for some people.

Which books are you reading lately?

Toughts and aphorism of Salvador Dali is the latest one.

  Are there any projects you are working on at the moment?

  I work on several works simultaneusly. In this way me and my artworks get rest from each other.

How do you see your future?

If you an artist in Bulgaria, you have to be an incorrigible optimist.
