When did you start to be interested in art? Why did you choose to draw?

At primary school, already liked to draw and use watercolours and pastel, It was not a choose but necessity because I liked depicting very much!

Do you remember your first artwork, what was it like?

Of course. Outside school I used to paint landscapes and flowers. It was my medieval village on the hill to interest me as first artwork!

I would like to increase more the value of objects that are important in my life and I can manage with light on my own. I find portrait very difficult to draw. My favourite topics are landscapes, flowers and abstracts.

How education has influenced your creativity and changed your professional way?

I have not had artistics education. I went just two year to a course with good painters!

From which authors do you get inspiration?

Impressionism and post impressionism authors were my inspiration.

What, do you think is the place of visual arts in today's life? Do you think art can influence the public life?

Visual arts will have always a place around us because they comes from our hearts, Of course art can influence the public life. Today there is more freedom to express our creativity as we want respect to the past time and the beauty of visual arts can influence positively our way to see the environment that surrounds us and develop positive thinkings. Visibility is not ever enough!

Do you think that nationality has its place in art?

Absolutely not, but when art can be attestation of a real fact the nationality is important to identify the contest of artwork for a better interpretation.

Which books are you reading lately?

I always read specific books of painting to improve my art such as Punkt und linie zu flaeche of Wassily Kandiski togheter other books such as Liquid life of Zygmunt Bauman where I can understand how difficult is today to be an individual person in a global world, then I read books of Italian writer such as Lidia Ravera and so on.

Are there any projects you are working on at the moment?

Yes of course. I have just begun doing acrylic abstract painting, because I feel it is high time for me to express in that way.

How do you see your future?

As natural continuity of my creativity.

Would you say in one sentence what is the art for you?

For me the art is an excellent way to communicate and express my feelings to be shared with all.
