When did you start to be interested in art? Why did you choose to draw?

I started to draw when I was a child. I just adore art.

Do you remember your first artwork, what was it like?

I don't remember my first drawings. But I think they art a part from my creative development.

What are your favourite topics and why? Is there anything you would not depict

My favourite subjects are sun, wind, air, sails and boats.

How education has influenced your creativity and changed your professional way?

I graduated from Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov.

From which authors do you get inspiration?

I like Monet, Soutine.

What, do you think is the place of visual arts in today's life? Do you think art can influence the public life?

I don't think so.

Do you think that nationality has its place in art?

Yes, I believe that nationality has its influence upon artist's vision and creativity.

Which books are you reading lately?

Garros-Evdokimov’s book.

Are there any projects you are working on at the moment?

Yes, I have started a new series of paintings.

How do you see your future?

I cann’t predict my future.

Would you say in one sentence what is the art for you?

My work is a part of me. I draw therefore i am.
