When did you start to be interested in art? Why did you choose to draw?

I remember outlined in childhood walls, floors ... school essays and cartoons ... studies in the institute .. and then my profession - artist.

Do you remember your first artwork, what was it like?

... all the time at art school for children imp.I.Repina-my first piece of art .

What are your favourite topics and why? Is there anything you would not depict?

... "Paradise" on earth, "paradise" in the soul ... God forbid images of the HELL ...

How education has influenced your creativity and changed your professional way?

... Academy of Design and Arts. Harkov artist by Education, an artist in style and spirit .... and in life simply ARTIST:)

Do you think that nationality has its place in art?

It has ... and greatly supported by faith or religion.

From which authors do you get inspiration?

At Home there is a library of artists ... I am learning, analyzing. I am interested recently in Byzantine mosaics and the eternal in-depth study of Impressionism (Claude Monet) and especially Paul Filonov.

What, do you think is the place of visual arts in today's life? Do you think art can influence the public life?

Art can influence the public path of development in countries with centuries of cultural tradition (England, Spain, France). If artists pay attention to their self, they can practically everywhere, but not always hear it and see. Or it is not his/her time ...

Which books are you reading lately?

Memuarnye and archived publications of the lives of creative individuals (Renoir, Picasso, Vrubel, Korovin, Shemyakin)

Are there any projects you are working on at the moment?

"Apostolic Age" and "The origins of our faith" ... presents an art project in 2010 out of 17 (seventeen) paintings (size 150h136) project author and performer Oleg Lazarenko in the technique of "mosaic tsvetopis. Technique "mosaic tsvetopisi" is a complex combination process that combines several creative phases: - Drawing the plot figure soft materials (pastels, charcoal, graphite); - Implementation of acrylic (tempera) painting a given color scheme and in accordance with the contour of the figure; - Given the color palette, is a manufacturer of mosaic spots of vykrasok acrylics, which are pieces of paper, selected for color and tone multi-layered prikleyanye to each other under the action of heat; - Unification of mosaic spots in the track corresponding to the previous painterly decision by high regime pasting the scenic base. - High-duplication across the mosaic composition on a canvas. The attractiveness of manners technology Oleg Lazarenko "tsvetopisi mosaic" is that the printing ink stains and layers of subconsciously and visually relates to the viewer's perception of the world-famous mosaics of Ravenna and Byzantine paintings, as well as to some extent resembles the technique of Ukrainian "vyshivanok (stitches) and modern methods of computer graphics (3D pixel image). Reviewed by way of executing the image (in particular the portraits of the Apostles) has no analogues in the visual arts and is a world novelty.

How do you see your future?

THE FUTURE - I want to have many creative projects and I hope for the possibility to organize exhibitions in famous art galleries. I would also participate in the auction and will be happy if more of my artworks are in private collections. I would like to travel to many museums around the world and to be a pilgrimage to holy places ...

Would you say in one sentence what is the art for you?

Art in my life .. this is my eternal MAGNET ... and life style ..
